Few, A Few, The Few, Very Few, Very Little

Image
Good morning, dear friends! Today, I want to share some thoughts with you about the importance of time in our lives. Time is the most valuable resource we have, yet it's also the most limited. We only have a certain amount of time in a day, week, month, or year. It's up to us to make the most of it. We all have a limited amount of time on this earth, and it's up to us to use it wisely. It's easy to get caught up in the daily grind and forget about the bigger picture, but it's important to remember that time is a precious commodity that should be valued and respected. When we think about the concept of "few," we realize that there are only a few things in life that truly matter. These might include our relationships with loved ones, our health, and our passions and interests. It's important to focus on these few things and prioritize them above all else. On the other hand, when we think about "a few," we realize that even small actions can h...

Actions Speak Louder Than Words

Actions Speak Louder Than Words: Why Being Smart is Better Than Being Straightforward It's a common saying that actions speak louder than words. This is because words can be deceptive and unreliable, but actions are concrete and reveal our true intentions. Similarly, feelings may be genuine, but they don't always have value in the real world. It's important to remember that in life, it's not what you say or feel that counts, but what you do. Unfortunately, there are people out there who will take advantage of those who are too straightforward or too trusting. These people may use your words against you, manipulate you, or even bully you. That's why it's important to be smart and strategic in how you communicate and interact with others. Being smart doesn't mean being manipulative or dishonest. It means being aware of the consequences of your actions and choosing the best course of action based on your goals and values. It also means being able to read people...

The Power of a Dedicated Mentor in Learning Language Basics

Image
Starting and Developing:  The Importance of Learning Before Progressing It's easy to get caught up in the desire to improve ourselves, develop new skills and abilities, and reach new heights of success. But often, we overlook the crucial first step in any journey: learning. Learning is the foundation on which we build our development and progress, and without it, we can quickly become lost, frustrated, and stagnant. Starting anything new can be daunting, and the fear of failure or the unknown can hold us back from taking that first step. But even if we overcome this fear and start, we may quickly find ourselves struggling to make progress. This is because starting and developing are two different things. Starting is the easy part; it's the development that requires hard work, dedication, and a willingness to learn. Consider the example of learning English. Many people may desire to improve their English language skills, but simply wanting to develop without first learning the b...

Good Evening "Make the Most of Today: Embracing the Gift of Life" It's important to remember that life is not just about existing, it's about living. Every day is an opportunity to make the most of what we have, to enjoy the present moment, and to create memories that we'll cherish forever. We often hear people say things like "life is too short" or "time flies," and it's true. Our time here on earth is limited, which is all the more reason to make the most of it. We shouldn't just go through the motions or settle for a mundane existence. We have to actively choose to live our lives to the fullest. It's easy to get caught up in the routine of daily life, to feel like we're just going through the motions. But we have the power to change that. We can choose to break out of our comfort zones, try new things, and pursue our passions. We can make time for the things that matter to us, whether that's spending time with loved ones,...

Who are you?

Image
"Who are you?" is a question that has puzzled philosophers, spiritual seekers, and everyday people for centuries. It's a question that goes beyond the surface level of our names, professions, and personalities. Instead, it touches on the very essence of our being and our connection to the divine. At our core, we are spiritual beings having a human experience. We are not just our bodies, minds, and emotions, but rather, we are a manifestation of the divine consciousness that pervades all of creation. We are expressions of the infinite intelligence and unconditional love that flows through the universe. To truly understand who you are, you must look within. You must connect with the divine spark that resides within you and align yourself with the universal flow of energy. This requires letting go of the egoic patterns of thinking and feeling that limit your perception of reality and prevent you from accessing your true self. When you connect with your true self, you experie...

Be Original : Your Factory Settings

Image
Be Original Your Factory Settings ---------- The human body is an incredibly complex and sophisticated machine, capable of performing a wide range of functions and tasks. However, unlike a mobile phone or other electronic devices, the human body does not come with pre-installed software or apps. Instead, we are born as blank slates, ready to be shaped and moulded by the world around us. As newborns, we are like mobile phones without software, completely empty and waiting to be filled with information, experiences, and beliefs. Over time, society installs software in the form of cultural and social norms, traditions, beliefs, and thoughts that shape our worldviews and guide our behaviour. However, as we grow older, we may begin to question whether these beliefs and values truly align with our authentic selves. We may start to feel like we are living someone else's life, and that we have lost touch with our true nature. It is important to recognize that while we cannot do a complete ...

Your Happiness

*Good evening!* *Your Happiness* One of the biggest obstacles to happiness is indeed relying on the permission or approval of others.  When we place our happiness in the hands of others, we give away our power and allow external factors to dictate how we feel. The poorest person is not necessarily the one with the least money or possessions, but rather the one who is unable to find joy and contentment within themselves.  Happiness should come from within, and it is up to us to cultivate it through self-awareness, self-care, and positive thinking. Of course, this is easier said than done. We live in a society that often values external validation and approval, which can make it challenging to break free from this mindset. But with practice and persistence, we can learn to find happiness within ourselves. One way to do this is by focusing on the present moment and practising mindfulness. When we are fully present and engaged at the moment, we are less likely to be caught up in w...

Language is a tool and not knowledge

Image
It is a Tool for communication and not Knowledge ---------- Language is an incredibly important tool for communication, allowing us to convey our thoughts, ideas, and feelings to others. However, it's important to remember that language is just that – a tool. It is not the same thing as knowledge. Many people mistakenly believe that being fluent in a language means they possess a deep understanding of the culture or people who speak it.  While language is certainly an important aspect of culture, it is not the only one. There are many aspects of a culture that cannot be fully understood simply by learning its language. For example, imagine someone who is learning Spanish solely to communicate with their Spanish-speaking coworkers. While they may become proficient in the language, they may still have a limited understanding of the nuances of the culture, such as social customs or historical events that shape the way people think and behave. It's also important to remember that l...

Avoiding sexism in your writing.

Image
In the past, when people referred to a member of a group containing both men and women (or  boys and girls), they used the pronouns he/him/his: A good doctor listens carefully to his patients. Anyone who wants to join should give his name to the secretary. Nowadays, many people feel that this usage is unfair to women. If you want to avoid the danger of seeming sexist, you can use one of the following alternatives. • Use They/Them/Their to refer back to an indefinite pronoun (anyone, somebody etc): Anyone who wants to join should give their name to the secretary. Some people object to this usage in formal styles, insisting that they (plural) does not agree in number with anyone (singular). This usage is nevertheless very common. • Make all the forms plural: Good doctors listen carefully to their patients. Those who want to join should give their name to the secretary. • Design the sentence in such a way that a personal pronoun is not needed.  For example, instead of saying 'If ...
